1-2 teaspoons of Frutilu instant drink (choose your favorite flavor)
2 dl of water
10 sheets of gelatin
Directions
- Preparation of gelatin: Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water in a small bowl and let them soften (about 5-10 minutes). When they are soft, drain them.
- Heating the liquid: In a small pan, heat 2 dcl of water mixed with Frutilu instant drink (we recommend 1-2 teaspoons). Heat until the liquid begins to boil slightly. It is important that the liquid does not boil too much.
- Adding the gelatin: When the liquid is heated, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the drained gelatin sheets. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved and mixed with the liquid.
- Chilling: Pour the mixture into candy molds, a small container that can be used to shape the jelly, or into a larger glass container (hardened jelly then simply cut into cubes with a knife). Allow to cool to room temperature.
- Refrigeration: Once the mixture is cooled, place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set completely.
- Forming the candy: Once the jelly has set, carefully remove it from the molds and store in a sealed container.
- That's it! Now you have delicious Frutilu jelly candies, ready to enjoy without any guilty.
Notes
- For the vegan version: Use 5-10 grams of pectin instead of gelatin. The amount depends on the type of pectin and the desired effect (whether you want softer or harder candies). It is recommended to start with 5 grams per 200 ml of liquid and, if necessary, add pectin if the liquid is too thin.
